The Supreme Court has ruled on the Seattle and Jefferson County cases. In a 5-4 decision the parents won their case.

The ruling leaves the door open to use race as a factor to create "diversity" in some cases. NANS had joined an Amicus Curiae Brief in these cases before the Supreme Court and the White House had filed Briefs Against Race-based Practices.


NANS is a united national effort of all races and nationalities to end racial, ethnic and socioeconomic control of student’s school choices, the disenfranchisement of American citizens, and the misuse of taxpayer education dollars. We work in a united effort to restore the neighborhood school concept.
