About
I am a Professor of Stroke Medicine and Consultant Physician in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Director of Research and Innovation in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. My research portfolio includes clinical trials in prevention and rehabilitation in stroke survivors. My main interest is in improving the long-term outcome after stroke. I have worked in clinical trials of novel devices to improve stroke recovery. I am currently of the Treasurer of the European Stroke Organisation.
